Rajib Mukherjee
Senior Scientist, In vitro Pharmacology, Pioneering Medicines
Rajib Mukherjee joined Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵAPP in 2022 as a Senior Scientist of In vitro Pharmacology for Pioneering Medicines. Rajib is responsible for research supporting multiple modalities related to obesity-associated metabolic diseases.
Rajib has more than 11 years of research experience in the metabolic and inflammatory background of adipose tissue dysfunction and fatty liver diseases. Prior to Flagship, Rajib was at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center investigating the immune-metabolic functions of thermogenic adipocytes using in vitro and in vivo systems. Previously, Rajib studied the roles of various immune mediators in fatty liver disease progression (NAFLD-NASH).
Rajib received his Ph.D. in Biotechnology from Daegu University, South Korea; his M.Sc. & B.Sc. from Visva Bharati University, India; and his postdoctoral research fellowship was supported by the American Heart Association. Rajib’s research has resulted in more than 20 publications.
