Yang Xie
Senior Scientist in鈥疘n Vitro Pharmacology, Pioneering Medicines
Yang Xie joined 蘑菇视频APP in 2024 as a Senior Scientist in鈥�In Vitro Pharmacology for Pioneering Medicines. In her role, she leads cutting-edge research to advance the understanding of metabolic diseases, leveraging her extensive experience in the design and execution of ex vivo and in vitro studies.
She completed鈥痟er鈥痯ostdoctoral research at Weill Cornell Medical College鈥痑nd鈥痩ater鈥痬oved鈥痶o鈥疊righam and Women's Hospital-Harvard Medical School, where she discovered novel molecular mechanisms鈥痠n鈥痜or鈥痵keletal muscle-mediated regulation of hepatic steatosis and insulin resistance. Previously, Yang investigated the roles of diverse nuclear receptors in the progression of hepatic injury and鈥痗arcinogenesis and her research has resulted in several publications.
Yang completed her Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Pittsburgh, School of Pharmacy, where she was鈥痟onored with the Graduate Student Excellence Award and the Norman R. and Priscilla A. Farnsworth Student Award.鈥疉dditionally, Yang serves as a member of鈥疎ditorial Board of Endocrinology. She has鈥痑lso鈥痚arned several accolades, including the Poster of Distinction from AASLD and the AHA postdoctoral fellowship in 2023.
